[크리에이터스 그라운드:드로잉 어텐션]은 서울디자인페스티벌 특별전 드로잉 전문 아트페어 입니다. 어컴퍼니는 부산을 기점으로 활동하는 이선경작가 와 프랑스에서 활동하는 샤를로뜨 푸에르타 작가와 함께 합니다. 자화상 또는 인물의 얼굴에 초점을 맞추며 자신의 이야기를 그려내는 두 여성 작가의 작품을 선보입니다.
[Creators' Ground: Drawing Attention] is an art fair specializing in drawing at the Seoul Design Festival. Accompany will be joined by Lee Sun-kyung from Busan and Charlotte Puerta from France. We present works by two female artists who draw their stories by focusing on self-portraits or the faces of characters.

​이선경 LEE, Sun-Kyung

이선경 작가는 스스로를 모델로 삼아 익숙하면서도 낯선 자신의 얼굴로 다양한 심리적 상황을 그려낸다. 작가는 예술이라는 거울을 통해 자신을 바라보고 점검하면서 내면 깊은 곳에 해결되지 못한 트라우마를 스스로 치유하는 과정을 자화상에 담고 있다. 종이에 콩테로 수없이 긋고 칠하기를 반복한 작품은 섬세한 동시에 부드럽고 매혹적이다. 작가는 삭막한 현실, 녹록지 않는 어른의 삶에 진심 어린 위로를 건넨다. 이선경 작가는 현재 부산을 거점으로 작업하며 조현화랑, 프랑스문화원, 뮤지엄 산, 부산시립미술관 등에서 다수의 개인전 및 초대전을 가졌다.
 

Artist Lee, Sun-kyung uses herself as a model and portrays various psychological situations with her familiar and unfamiliar face.

She looks at and checks herself through the mirror of art and expresses the process of self-healing trauma that has not been deeply resolved.

Her work, which she has repeatedly drawn and painted countless times with contrails on paper, is delicate, soft, and fascinating.

She gives sincere comfort to the stark reality and the life of an adult.

Artist Lee Sun-Kyung currently works based in Busan and has held a number of solo exhibitions and invitations at Jo Hyun Gallery, the French Cultural Center, Museum San, and the Busan Museum of Art.

샤를로뜨 푸에르타  Charlotte Puertas

문학과 미술을 공부한 프랑스 작가 샤를로뜨 푸에르타 (Charlotte Puertas)는 얼굴이 신체 중에서 항상 벌거벗겨져 있는 가장 취약하며 원초적인 곳이라 말한다. 얼굴은 감각기관을 통해 가장 먼저 지각되는 과시적인 곳이며 무방비 상태로 노출된 채 있다. 하지만 그만큼 은밀하고 순수한 감정을 드러내기도 감추기도 하는 내밀한 곳이다. 작가가 그리는 얼굴은 단순한 재현의 대상이 아닌 삶과 죽음에 대한 고찰을 담고 있다. 타자 또는 자신의 얼굴을 통해 일상 속에서 접하는 날 것 그대로의 감정들을 면밀히 관찰하고 그림으로 기록한다.

French artist Charlotte Puertas, who studied literature and art, says that the face is the most vulnerable and primitive part of the body that is always naked. The face is the first ostentatious place perceived through the sensory organs and is exposed defenselessly. However, it is a secret and intimate place that both reveals and hides pure emotions. The face she draws is not an object of simple representation, but contains consideration of life and death. Through the other or one's own face, the emotions that are encountered in everyday life are closely observed and recorded as pictures.
